Olympic Training Techniques
Swimpath are pleased to welcome Double Olympian and British Record Holder Jemma Lowe to the team to help develop Swimmers and club coaching staff by passing on her experience of competing and training at the top of swimming for over 10 years. Jemma utilises her experience gained in both Technical Stroke Development, Training sets, Race Pace, Land Training for Pre and Post Swimming, nutrition advise and getting the most out of your training. She is also focused on Land Training to supplement Swimming to improve strength, core stablity and injury prevention.
SwimPath mentoring has been designed to work with clubs, coaches and individuals to facilitate the process of developing and nurturing the skill of competitive swimming from entry through to senior elite level. Once involved you can find out more about how SwimPath can tailor your programme to your coaches and athletes and the varying levels of support we can provide.
Each programme can be tailored to the needs of you as a club or individual: factored against such criteria as pool hours, number of members, goal objectives and level of skill development amongst many others; with the fundamental objective being the specific development and support that is required by YOU!
This could be as simple as being involved in a support network of coaches to share and post ideas around session ideas or different training concepts; it may involve a thorough and detailed inventory on land training provision and key areas for development within this; or even just looking for guidance in implementing key technical areas into the daily programme - all of which can add vital qualities to your programme and allow you more scope for spending that time where it matters - on deck and in the pool!
