David Popovici backs up his Olympic Gold Medal from Paris in 2024 with another impressive swim to win the Men's 200 metre freestyle in Singapore in 2025. Swimming a very fast 1:43.53, coming from behind on the last length to beat American Luke Hobson by just 0.31 seconds to take the silver medal with a time of 1:43.84. The podium was complete by Japan's Tatsuya Murasa in a 1:44.54.
